Margaret Hood

This is our personal instrument, an Italian double begun in 1976 and basically completed in the 90's - though I hope to add wooden jacks and quill eventually, and have a couple of additions of figures to the lid painting. It's after various different prototypes; GG-g3, brass strung, 2x8', 1x4', at a415 or a bit lower, not transposing (which saves me having to loan it to the local University, which has a Sabathil!) The legs are 'after' a Zenti which I like - every one else seems to as well since they are widely copied though we all know the Zenti legs are not authentic.
